Filbert "Ramon" Herrera
Ramon Herrera, 57, returned to the Lord on June 29, 2021. He was born on April 27, 1964 in Ruidoso, NM; the son of Elena "Helen" Herrera and Joe Guiterrez Jr.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Manuel and Elisa Herrera, Joe and Lola Gutierrez; mother, Elena Helen Herrera; brother, Larry Patricio Herrera; and sister Debra Ann Gutierrez.
He is survived by his wife, Phyllis Gent; father, Joe Gutierrez Jr; daughters, Aquilina and Diana; grandchildren, Gabriel, Timothy, Ashlie, Alec, and Tristen; sisters, Leecha (Deke), Betty (Robert), Geraldine, Anna (Jimmy), Josephine (N.J.), Shania (Taylor); brother, Adolph Fito Herrera; nephews, Garydon, Bobbyray, Jake, Esmeregildo, Patricio, Jesse, Gabriel, Larry, Anthony, Brandon, James, and Tristan; nieces, Heaven Leigh, Elena, Quiawna, and Zendaya; along with great nieces and nephews, and numerous cousins.
Services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at the Ruidoso Downs Baptist Church.
Burial will follow services at St. Jude Catholic Cemetery in San Patricio.
The family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home and New Dawn Cremation Services.
