Evelyn LaVonne Robertson

Evelyn LaVonne Robertson, loving mother, granny, sister, and aunt. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, LaVonne. She passed away on December 3, 2024, surrounded by her four children and 5 of her grandchildren. She absolutely loved being with her family, but her favorite pastime was just being Granny to all of her grandchildren. She also loved to go fishing and watch her grandchildren in their sporting events.  

LaVonne is preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Stella Jones; her sister, Tessie Danley; her brothers, Devereux, Bobby, Elbo; and her niece Dalene Stallberg. She is survived by her sister, Beth Wright; daughters, Melissa (Kevin) Jewell, Amanda Beavers; sons, Michael (Leah) Hamilton, and John Robertson. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Joey (Kammi) Whitted, Stephanie (Justin) Tidwell, Ryan Jewell, Shawn Blotz, Brandon Beavers, Christopher Hamilton, Katie Hamilton, Jacob Robertson, Charlotte Robertson; her two great grandchildren, Haylee Whitted, Conner Whitted; and many nieces and nephews.

Services with LaVonne's family and friends will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Mountain View Church in Alamogordo.

The Robertson family has entrusted their loved ones to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
