Eduardo Bernal

Eduardo (Balo) Bernal, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and friend, 66, passed away on April 9, 2021 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on September 14, 1954 in Colonia Esperanza, Chihuahua, Mexico to Juan and Dulces (Bernal) Hernandez. 

Survivors include his children, Laura Aguirre, Raul and Dulsez Maynez, Juan and Esmeralda Velazquez, Lucy Bernal and Eleazar, and Calet Israel Bernal. Eduardo was grandfather to 18 grandchildren and great grandfather to 20 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm on Friday, April 16, 2021 at the family home, 86 Smith Avenue in Alamogordo.

A graveside service for Eduardo Bernal will be held at 9:00 am, Saturday, April 17, 2021 at Fairview Cemetery in Tularosa with Pastor Jeff Sowers officiating.

Due to the COVID Pandemic, occupancy at the visitation is limited to no more than 10 people at a time. Further, attendance at the graveside is limited to 10 people as well. Please practice social distancing at all times. Thank you for adhering to the Department of Health mandate.
