Dwalena "Dee" M Wilmeth

Dwalena "Dee" M Wilmeth passed away on April 17, 2022 at her home in Weed, New Mexico. She was born on September 20, 1922 in Larned, Kansas to Vern and Stella (Ruble) Wylie. Dee moved to New Mexico as a young child. She was a longtime resident of Clovis before moving to Weed. She married Herb C Wilmeth on November 8, 1941.

Survivors include her sister, June Brazell; her oldest son, Pat Wilmeth; daughters-in-law, Anita Wilmeth and Vickie Wilmeth; five granddaughters, Starlia Clayton, Kaylia Thomas, Elaine Hicks, LaNora Hammons, Trisha Barber, and their husbands; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. 

She was preceded in death by her husband; her parents; four brothers and four sisters; son, Eddie Joe Wilmeth; great granddaughter, Trista Barber.

Dee was a loving wife, mother, granny, and friend to everyone that she met. She has been reunited with all of her loved ones in Heaven and will be missed by us all.

A graveside service for Dwalena Wilmeth will be held at 9:00 am, Friday, April 22, 2022 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, NM.

The Wilmeth family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the services.
