Diane Ornelas

On Thursday, August 22, 2024, our dearest Vieja, Mami, and Grandma, Diane Ornelas, was carried gently into Jesus’s arms. She was met by her parents, Meliton and Consepcion Viera; brother, Meliton “Lingo” Viera; sister, Dolores “Lola” Viera.

She is beloved and cherished by her husband, Jose Francisco Ornelas of 35 years; children, Adriana and Jacob Bock, Araceli Ornelas, Jose Franciso Ornelas II, Neron and Alma Ornelas, Amariani Ornelas, Anayeli Eustacia Ornelas, Cornelio Ornelas; grandchildren, Brennan Lee Bock, Kaden Lane Bock, Payton Jo Bock, Anayeli Rosa Ornelas.

Mom is loved and adored by her family and will be greatly missed. There are no words to express what our mom meant to us. She loved being a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, Cousin, and Friend. There was no place she would rather be than be with her grandkids. She had a heart of gold and had a special place in her heart for everyone she met.

Services for Diane Ornelas will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, at Alamogordo Funeral Home, 2301 First St., Alamogordo, NM, 88310. Visitation will be held from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm. The Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 pm with burial to follow.

Pallbearers include Jose Francisco Ornelas II, Neron Ornelas, Cornelio Ornelas, Jacob Bock, Sergio Ornelas, and MJ Viera. Honorary pallbearer will be Renee Viera.

The Ornelas family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral arrangements.
