David Edward Miles, 82, passed away on August 4, 2023 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on January 4, 1941 in Somerville, Tennessee to Roy and Clara Miles.
David was self employed in Scrap Metal Recycling and retired working his hobby of Flintknapping.
Survivors include his four daughters, Shara Mohr of Alamogordo, NM, Angelica Selders of Franklin, NC, Sherry Miles of Wellington, AL, Janet Smith of Weaver, AL; two sons, David Miles and John Roy Miles of FL; three sisters, Edna Thompson of Dalton, GA, Alice Miles of Unionville, TN, Phyllis Miles of Unionville, TN; four brothers, Calvin Miles of OK, Sam Miles of Dalton, GA, Robert Miles of Dalton, GA, Leman Miles of Dalton, GA; nine grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Jane Miles.
The Miles family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
