Curtis Robert Woodall

Curtis Robert “Woody” Woodall, 72, of Alamogordo, NM passed away peacefully on September 9, 2025.

Born in Los Angeles, CA to the late Robert Louis Woodall Jr. and Shirley Winnifred Larson Woodall, Curtis grew up with a passion for learning and achievement. He graduated from high school in Tacoma, WA, was an Eagle Scout, participated in the Junior Achievement program, and served honorably in the US Air Force. After his service, Curtis became an entrepreneur, founding and running his own business, Roundtree Woodworks in Corrales, NM where his skill and passion for craftsmanship were celebrated by clients and friends alike.

Curtis loved to travel, read, pursue projects, garden, spend time outdoors, and care for his beloved cats. He found joy in the beauty of nature and the company of family and friends.

He was married twice, first to Sharry, mother of his children, Melissa and Matthew, and later to Eva, from whom he also divorced.

He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Woodall and her son, Dorrian; his son, Matthew Woodall and his children Amelia, Bryce, and Mason; his brother, Cary; and his sisters, Cheryl and Cindy.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 26, 2025, at Alamogordo Funeral Home.

Curtis will be remembered for his generosity, his love of family, his devotion to his cats, and his remarkable talent for craftsmanship, a legacy that will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
