Craig G Murray

Craig G  Murray (61) peacefully went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2020 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. Craig was born on March 10, 1959 in Streator, Illinois. 

Craig served in the United States Air Force.  He retired after serving 20 years.  He then worked ADS for 16 years traveling all over the US and also in England.  After leaving ADS, he came to Alamogordo and worked for Soaring Heights at Holloman Air Force Base.  After his motorcycle accident in 2014, he became administrator and social quarters manager at the Moose Lodge 2016 in Alamogordo.  He loved riding motorcycles and watching sports, especially NASCAR and football.  He loved cooking.  He just loved life in general.

Survivors include: wife, Walitta Murray of Alamogordo, NM; mother, Joyce Coffman of Bradenton, FL; mother and father-in-law, Sandra Farmer and Dexter Holloway of Silver City, NM; brother, David Murray (Melody) of Sheridan, AR; sisters, Connie Korn (Tom) of Danvers, IL and Rochelle Costello (Robin) of Palmetto, FL; son, Nickolas Murray (Elizabeth) of Louisville, KY; daughters, Stephanie Haney of Louisville, KY, Amber Murray (Chris Snyder) of Pensacola, FL, Tara Joyce (John) of Fort Smith, AK, Amber White (Adam) of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Jonathan Murray of Louisville, KY, Danica Haney of Louisville, KY, Marissa Fancher (DJ) of Syracuse, KS, Conner Joyce (Miranda) of Austin, TX, Madalyn Goolsby (Garrett) of Siloam Springs, AR; great grandchildren, Jolene, Brody ad Rhett Fancher of Syracuse, KS; nephews, Larry Fink of Brloomington, IL, Charles Costello (Tabitha) of Carrollton, GA, Shane Costello (Beth) of Hiram, GA, David Korn (Megan) of Danvers, IL; great nephews and great nieces, Henry Korn of Danver, IL, Connor and Caden Costello of Carrollton, GA, and Isabella and Ella Costello of Carrollton, GA.

Craig was preceded in death by his father, Norris Gene Murray; stepfather, Milton Joseph Giesholt; grandparents, Harvey and Dorothy Murray, and Leonard and Bertha Gillman.

The memorial service for Craig Murray will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 18, 2021 at the Moose Lodge 2016 in Alamogordo, NM.
