Corine Griego

Corine Griego, beloved mother, grandmother, and cherished friend passed away on March 8, 2026, just days before her 75th birthday. She was born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, where her life began rooted in love, family, and strong values. 

Corine was a woman of warmth, strength, and deep compassion. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting their needs before her own. Her love was constant, her presence comforting, and her legacy one that will live on through many lives she touched. 

Corine is survived by her daughters, Simona (Robert), Rosemary (Chon), Rufina (Nick) and her brother, Michael (Anna). Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Monica (Alejandro), Juliana (Joe), Amin, Maria Rosa, Michelle, Josephine, Nick; great grandchildren, Sariyah, Mateo, Feliz, Sariyah, Julius, Alaina, Gavin; all of whom brough her immense pride and joy to her life. 

Corine is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Maxiilliono; her son, Max Griego; her grandson, Michael Paul. While she deeply felt these losses, she carried their memory in her heart always. 

Corine’s life was a beautiful reflection of love, resilience, and devotion to family. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

Services for Corine Griego will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2026, at St. Jude Parish Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited at 10:30 am with Mass celebrated at 11:00 am. 

The Griego family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
