Consuelo (Barbosa) Lothridge

Consuelo Lothridge, 70, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2021 and is now resting in the loving arms of our Lord Jesus Christ. Consuelo was born February 8, 1951 in Gualterio, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jose and Maria Barbosa. As a lifelong Catholic, she was a devoted parishioner at Saint Jude Catholic Church. Throughout the years she served in many ministries and continued to further her faith in Catholicism. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, grandchildren and friends. She also enjoyed listening and dancing to her favorite music.
 
Consuelo was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Maria Barbosa; her husband of 31 years, James Lothridge; and her two brothers, Jesus “Chuy” Barbosa and Adolfo “Rudy” Barbosa. 

Consuelo is survived by one daughter, Sonia Muthuveeran and her husband, Marlon; two sons, Urian Jimenez and William Lothridge; five grandchildren, Adela Trevino, Adan Trevino, Alina Muthuveeran, William Lothridge Jr, and Elijah Lothridge; her sister, Martha “Leti”/Stanley Gemmell; two brothers, Hugo/Vicky Barbosa and Joel/Norma Barbosa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, family, and friends who will greatly miss her.

The Lothridge family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
