Consuelo (Connie) Coyazo, went to be with our Lord on June 15, 2022. Connie was born on August 24, 1946 in Alamogordo, NM to Carlos and Genoveva Fuentes.
Connie loved spending her time at the Alamogordo Senior Center. She loved to play Bingo and was a foster grandma for Oregon, Sierra and Yucca Elementary Schools for over 20 years; a position which she treasured. Despite her children and grandchildren being Steelers fans, there was no changing her mind about who her NFL team was...Green Bay Packers.
Survivors include her children, Angie Clark (Jim), Carlos Coyazo (Cinthia) and Sonia Madrid; 4 grandchildren, Carlos II, Dominique, Shaelyn, and Adan; 2 great grandchildren, Carlos III and Malikai; brother, Ernie Fuentes (Becky). Also surviving her are aunts, uncles, brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her father and mother; her husband, Joe Coyazo; her son, Joey Coyazo; brother, Carlos Fuentes; and sister, Margie Archuleta.
A visitation is scheduled for Friday, July 1, 2022 at 10:00 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, followed by rosary at 10:30 am, and mass at 11:00 am.
There will be a potluck following the mass at the Parish Hall.
Burial will take place at a later date.
