Cheryl Rae (Holder) Harris

Cheryl Rae (Holder) Harris (58), of Alamogordo, NM passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021.  She was born August 4, 1962 to Paul and Rose Mary Holder (Henderson) in Alamogordo, and graduated Alamogordo High School in 1979.  Cheryl never fully recovered from a diagnosed mini-stroke in 2019 and lost her ability to function in society.

Up until the time of her stroke, Cheryl was an active member of the Loyal Order of Moose WOTM, Lodge 2016 in Alamogordo where she dedicated much of the last 10 years of her life to this worthy fraternity. 

Cheryl is preceded in death by her father, Paul Dalton Holder of Lubbock, Texas; and is survived by her mother, Rose Mary (Henderson) Turner of Alamogordo, two brothers:  Russell Curtis Holder of Alamogordo, and Paul Dalton Holder, III of Alto, NM; and several nieces & nephews.  Cheryl never had children.

Per Cheryl's request, no memorial services are to be held.  In her words she said, "No goodbye or farewell is necessary, just 'adios' until we meet again."

The Harris family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
