Cecilia Andrea Garcia Coyazo

Cecilia Andrea Garcia Coyazo, November 10, 1950 ~ October 17, 2023, loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother. 

Cecilia will always be remembered for her loving and caring ways. We will always imagine hearing her say “if God is for us, who can be against us” one more time. We couldn’t have asked for a better mother, grandma, great grandma, and sister. We will miss Cecilia every day knowing her memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved her.

Everyone who knew Cecilia knew how much she loved and cared for her family, there was nothing Cecilia wouldn’t have done for them.

Cecilia was a former pastor and a devoted member of the Church of God in Alamogordo devoting all her time and energy to the church.

Cecilia was preceded in death by her loving husband, Tanny Coyazo; her father, Ramon V Garcia; her mother, Maria Luisa Arguelles Garcia; her sisters, Cruz Terrazas and Adela Garcia Vargas. 

Cecilia is survived by her children, Maria Coyazo of Bismarck, ND, Ysidro and Melissa Coyazo of Madisonville, KY, Michael and Karen Coyazo of Bismarck, ND, Samuel Coyazo and Yolanda Moran of Alamogordo, NM, Daniel and Jennifer Coyazo of Alamogordo, NM. She is also survived by her sisters, Lupe and Roberto Rios of Alamogordo, NM, Jesusita Terrazas of Alamogordo, NM, Evila Garcia of Alamogordo, NM; her brothers, Ramon Garcia Jr of Alamogordo, NM, Gabriel Coyazo Garcia and Sandy Martinez Garcia of Los Lunas, NM, Esaul Garcia of Midland, TX, David and Ysenia Garcia of Alamogordo, NM, Jose and Maria Garcia of Alamogordo, NM; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews who all loved her very dearly. 

Visitation Service will be held at 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at Alamogordo Funeral Home. 

The Funeral Service for Cecilia Coyazo will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, October 23, 2023, at Alamogordo Funeral Home.

Burial will follow at 12:00 pm at Monte Vista Cemetery.

Pallbearers include Javier Cerda, Elijah Cerda, Zachary Coyazo, James Coyazo, Nick Coyazo, Daniel Coyazo, Aidan Coyazo, and Jozziah Coyazo. 

Honorary pallbearers are Jose H. Garcia, Esaul Garcia, David Garcia, Gabriel Coyazo Garcia, Ramon Garcia Jr., Isaac Coyazo, Donovan Coyazo, and Isaac Terrazas. 

The Coyazo family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
