Benny Nosbisch Obituary

Benny O. Nosbisch, 68, passed away March 29, 2022 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born July 23, 1953 at Vance AFB, Oklahoma to Robert J. and Toshiko Nosbisch. Benny and our mother shared the same birthday.

After serving four years in the Air Force, Benny earned a degree in business from New Mexico State University. He worked various jobs until his latest one, a job he loved and cherished, and that was at the Holloman Air Force Base Chapel.

Benny was a diehard Pittsburgh Steelers fan and Oklahoma Sooners fan. He was an avid reader and a huge lover of music. Some of his favorite musicians were Jimi Hendrix, B.B. King, and Johnny Winter.

He was a quiet man with a kind heart and a good soul. He was a cancer survivor who valiantly fought through other health ailments as well. Benny was loved by all.

Benny is survived by his brothers, Bill and wife Lynda of Lebanon, TN and Bob and wife Nellie of Las Cruces, NM; his sister, Mary Fechner of Alamogordo, NM.

He is preceded in death by our father, Robert, who passed away on November 29, 2021 and our mother, Toshiko, who passed away on May 23, 2020.

A memorial service celebrating Benny’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Holloman Air Force Base Chapel.
