Angel D Brown

Angel D Brown, 27, passed away on May 6, 2021 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on January 19, 1994 in Gallup, New Mexico. He was born of the Nakaii Dine (Mexican Clan), born for the Ashii Dine (Salt People).

Angel graduated from Wildcat Christian Academy. He worked for many businesses, Navajo Nation, Mesa Verde Enterprises, Gerald Champion Hospital, Wendell's, The Inn Casino, Johnny Carino's, Bowling Alley Kitchen as well as many other places where he was a professional chef. Angel loved exercising, lifting weights, bike riding, hiking, hunting, walking, cruising, Free Styling, and just sitting and talking with whomever he was with. He loved to cook for anyone and had a very unique way and style. He was soft spoken and always tried to help as best he could in everything and with everyone. His favorite musician was Mac Miller, he couldn't get enough of sharing "Mac's" music.

Survivors include his grandmother, Kathy Battese of St. Michaels, AZ; mother, Lenora A Depp; sister, Sherri D Brown of Alamogordo; brothers, Derek C Brown of Alamogordo and Eric Cooke of Window Rock; Uncle and Auntie, Daryle and Pam Beyal and kids of St. Michael, AZ and Uncle and Auntie, Delbert and Debbie Luther and kids of Fort Defiance, FL. Angel never married or had any children but had many, many friends from the ages of 0-95 years old.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gregory C Brown of Rock Springs, NM; grandparents, George and Alyce Brown of Rock Springs, NM; great grandparents, Charlie and Sadie Brown of Tuba City, AZ.

The memorial service for Angel D Brown will be held at 1:00 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2021 at Christ Community Church with Pastor Tim Brock officiating.

Due to the COVID Pandemic, occupancy is limited to no more than 150 people at a time. Please practice social distancing at all times and follow COVID safe practices.

Honorary pallbearers include Derek C Brown, Sherri D Brown, Eric Cooke, Roman Hillard, Dugon Jimmy, Taylor Guilez and Brad Moreau, Robyn Mendez, Pete LittlElk, Joey Kazhe, Rachel Garza and Al Frank Gallegos.

The Brown family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home.
