Andy LeRoy Andrews, 72, passed away on July 18, 2020 in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on March 15, 1948 in Bangor, Maine.
Andy Andrews was a man of many trades. He was a military man (Army). He Worked as a machinist, as well as a firefighter and EMT. He owned, operated and drove a taxi. He also owned a automobile/vehicle salvage yard. Andy was never afraid to learn new job skills or life skills. He was a very intelligent, witty and humorous person. He knew how to make you laugh, bring a smile to your face and a GREAT conversationalist to get your mind to go beyond its limits. Andy was the best friend you could ever ask for. He will be missed deeply by his family and all who knew him.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Andrews; daughters, Naomi Andrews-Glidden and Jaesell (Jared) Bowman; sons, Christopher Andrews-Drew, Bill Andrews, Adam Andrews, and Paul Andrews; brother, Thomas Andrews; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by father, Sherwood Lincoln Andrews, mother, Lois Elaine Grant-Andrews.
