Alejandro Medina Maynez

Alejandro (Alex) Medina Maynez, Sr., age 74, entered into eternal rest on August 20, 2025. A beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother, Alex is now reunited with the love of his life and high school sweetheart, Lupe Maynez.

Alex was a family man at heart. He leaves behind his cherished children, daughter, Patricia Paz and her husband Jamie Sr. and son, Alex Jr. and his wife Susan. He was a proud grandfather to Jamie Jr. (Michelle), Anthony (Kimberly), Alexis (Kevin), and Brooke. His joy multiplied with his great grandchildren, Gabrielle (Chris), Kylie (Andrew), Brandon, AJ, and Sophia, and continued with the blessing of his great-great grandchildren, Clementine, Hallie, Kai, and Ariel. He also adored his “grand puppies”, Luna and Kimura who brought him much happiness.

Alex’s deep love for his family was evident in the way he stayed close and connected with each of them, as well as with his siblings who held a special place in his heart. He made friends wherever he was and cherished each and every friendship throughout his life. His presence filled every room with warmth, laughter, and kindness. His greatest pride was the strong and loving family he helped nurture, and his memory will live on through the generations who loved him dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at Mountain View Church, 1400 Cuba Ave, Alamogordo, NM. A reception will follow where family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate his life.

Alejandro’s legacy of love, faith, friendship, and family will never be forgotten.
