Adam Thomas Samora, also known to his many friends and family as Zozo, 42, unexpectedly passed away on Friday, August 25, 2023, in Albuquerque, NM.
Adam was born in Alamogordo, NM on July 17, 1981. He is survived by his longtime Girlfriend, Shantele Santillanes; his mother, Debbie Serna and husband Alex; his father, Tommy Samora; his 3 children and 2 stepchildren, Anastasia, Gianna, Gabriel, Sammy, and Daniel; sister, Shonna Samora; 3 nephews, Demitrius, Alex, and Dominic; and a large and tight knit family of aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Adam was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Rito and Julia Samora and maternal grandparents, Ray and Marjorie Wells.
Adam worked as a tile installer most of his life, but his passion lay with many other artistic areas that include drawing, air brushing, painting murals, and tattoo art. There was nothing he couldn’t do in the artistic realm. He also had a passion for restoring and customizing classic cars.
A Celebration of Life for Adam will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, September 8, 2023, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 1000 D Ave, Carrizozo, NM. He will then be laid to rest immediately following the service at Santa Rita Cemetery.
The Samora family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
