Reynaldo Preciado Candelaria

Reynaldo Preciado Candelaria, age 61, peacefully went to be with the Lord on August 8, 2022 in Roswell New Mexico. Reynaldo was born on November 30, 1960 to Helario and Dolores Candelaria in Alamogordo, New Mexico.

Survivors include her daughters, Sara Candelaria and Maria Candelaria both of Alamogordo; son, Gabriel Castillo (Teresa) of Alamogordo; two stepsons, Manuel Vigil (Shannon) of Las Cruces and Dillon Koch of Alamogordo. He was a proud grandfather of 20 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Reynaldo is also survived by two brothers, Larry Candelaria (Linda), Chuy Candelaria (Tonie) all of Roswell, New Mexico; two sisters, Cecilia Grubb (Joseph) and Lisa Munoz (Eddie) all of Alamogordo; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Helario Candelaria; his mother, Dolores Candelaria; and brother, Christopher Candelaria. 

The Memorial Service for Reynaldo will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 27, 2022 at Mountain View Church with Pastor Rich Hernandez officiating. 

Pallbearers will include Reynaldos grandchildren. 

The Candelaria family would like to thank all of the nurses and doctors from UMC Medical Center Lubbock for the great job they did taking care of Reynaldo, and to the two amazing people whom he loved dearly that helped in his last days, Chuy Candelaria and Linda Candelaria. 

The Candelaria family has entrusted their loved one to care of the Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
