Miguel J Macias

Miguel J Macias (Mikie), devoted husband, son, father, stepfather, grandfather, uncle, brother, and friend passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at the age of 56. Mike was born on September 8, 1965 to Miguel and Mary Lou Macias in Alamogordo, NM.

Mike is survived by his mother, Mary Lou Macias; sisters, Hilda and Ray Villarreal, Norma Collins and John Lara; son, Jeremy Macias and Rosa; daughter, Katie Macias and Jonathan; niece, Suzanne Anderson and Gerardo and great niece, Kiannalise; nephews, Dustin Villarreal, Austin and Bailey Collins; niece, Joslynn Collins and Diane; special grandson and the light of Mike's life, Lincoln. He is preceded in death by his father, Miguel L Macias.

Mike was employed by the New Mexico Department of Transportation as an Engineer Technician, responsible for inspecting and testing of Federal State construction projects. Mike was an asset to the department and will be missed by all of his NMDOT family.

Mikie will always be remembered for his humor, laughter, smile, generosity, his love for music, and his favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys. Rest in Peace, We Love You!!

Rosary for Miguel Macias will be recited at 7:00 pm, Friday, August 19, 2022 at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel. 

Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am, Saturday, August 20, 2022 at St. Jude Parish Catholic Church with Father Marcel Okonkwo, Celebrant.

The Macias family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the arrangements.
