Sergio Paulo Melendez

Sergio Paulo Melendez, 35, passed away on December 25, 2022. He was born to Rene Melendez and Eva Nevarez de Melendez on August 11, 1987, in Alamogordo, NM. Sergio was loved by everyone. He always found a way to put a smile on everyone’s face and was a huge gangster teddy bear that had everyone’s back. Sergio loved spending time with his family and customizing his cars. He loved cruising and bumping his music throughout town.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, Eva Nevarez de Melendez; father, Rene Melendez; wife, Anna Lisa Espinoza; son, Jeremy Espinoza; daughter, Pahrelli Melendez; brother, Joram Melendez; sister, Damaris Melendez; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his best friends, Jeremy Tajiri and Michael Aleman; uncle, Salvador Nevarez; and many others whom he never forgot.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, January 7, 2023, at Mountain View Church with Pastor Anthony Torres officiating. 

Interment will take place at a later date.
