Rosemarie E Carroll

Rosemarie E Carroll, 86, went to be with the Lord on January 13, 2023. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Rosemarie was born to Fritz Hoehndorf and Kaethe Bodenstein in Darmstadt, Germany. She met her beloved husband, Donald Carroll, at Holloman Air Force Base. They were married for 59 years until his death in 2018. Rosemarie enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards with her Flamingo friends, gambling at the Inn, making jewelry, painting, and spoiling her two granddaughters. She was a part of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Elks, and La Sertoma

Left to cherish her memory is her son, David Carroll; her two granddaughters, Chelsea and Carleigh Carroll; brother Will Hoehndorf (Norma); sister, Ingrid Casson; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Edward Carroll; her son, Stephen Carroll; mother, Kaethe; father, Fritz; and three sisters.

Visitation for Rosemarie will be held from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm on Monday, January 30, 2023, at St Jude Parish Catholic Church with Funeral Mass to follow at 2:00 pm.

Burial will follow services at Monte Vista Cemetery.

The Carroll family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
