Ramon (Mono) Alejandro Castro, 29, passed away on May 28, 2023, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. He was born on December 21, 1993, in Alamogordo, New Mexico to Ramon Castro and Sylvia Diaz.
 
Survivors include maternal grandmother, Mary Alice Rodriguez of Alamogordo; his mother, Sylvia Diaz of Alamogordo; daughter, Kaliyah Marie Castro of Alamogordo; two sisters, Destiny Castro and Isabel (Tom) Colon of Alamogordo; seven uncles, Tio Sam, Tio Snuff, Rogelio Castro, Robert Castro, Ruben Castro, Frankie Minjarez and Jimmy Minjarez; two aunts, Maria (Tom) Monteleone and Gracie (Will) Minjarez; numerous cousins and close family friends.
 
He was preceded in death by his father, Ramon Castro; two uncles, Rudy Castro and Ricky Castro; paternal grandmother, Elodia Minjarez.
 
The family will greet friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am on Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel.
 
The Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 am, Tuesday, June 6, 2023, at Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Anthony Torres officiating.
 
The Castro family has entrusted their loved one to the care of Alamogordo Funeral Home to direct the funeral services.
