Chae Rich

We are greatly saddened to announce the death of Chae Rich, 84, who passed away peacefully on May 30, 2023, in Alamogordo, New Mexico. She was born on September 26, 1938, in Chunchon City, Kangwon-do, Korea to Chung Jun Park and Inn Kyung (Cho) Park.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Frank Rich V; her son, Thomas Frank Rich VI; sister, Jae Sook Park; brothers, Jae Yurel Park and Jae Chung Park.

She was preceded in death by her father, Chung Jun Park; mother, Inn Kyung (Cho) Park; and brothers Jae Ik Park and Jae Hoon Park.

Chae was a wonderful wife to her husband of 51 years, and a great mother to their son Tommy. She became a proud U.S. Citizen on June 12, 1976, and had a long successful career in customer service. After retiring, she continued to serve her community as a volunteer with the Alamogordo Chamber of Commerce and was twice awarded volunteer of the month.  She continued serving by volunteering with Gerald Champion Regional Medical Center for over 25 years as a Hospital Auxiliary Member.

The visitation and service will be held on June 10, 2023, at the Alamogordo Funeral Home Chapel.  The family will greet friends between 9:30 am to 10:00 am, with services starting at 10:00 am.
